- Contract Duration: 6 months | contract-to-hire
- Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI | Hybrid
- Conversion Salary:
- Senior: $77,100 - $121,220
- Complex/Lead: $87,100 - $136,840
What you will do as a Contract Manager:
- Lead negotiations for complex and cross-functional vendor contracts, ensuring pricing, terms, and performance align with business objectives
- Develop negotiation strategies that drive risk mitigation, cost savings, and best-in-class service level agreements
- Collaborate with legal, technology, finance, and operations teams to balance business needs with compliance and regulatory requirements
- Analyze contract terms to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Manage multiple negotiations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to align on strategy and ensure favorable outcomes
- Enter contracts and contract data into the organization’s contract management system for accurate tracking and compliance
What you will bring to the Contract Manager role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Pre-Law, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5–8 years of experience negotiating complex contracts, with IT and/or operations focus strongly preferred
- Proven ability to influence, resolve conflicts, and drive results in high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with an enterprise mindset
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex contract terms clearly to both internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of emerging trends in contracting preferred
