Established (25+ Years) Litigation Firm Seeking Insurance Defense Attorney in Phoenix (Hybrid Flexibility)
An established litigation firm with over 25 years in practice is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 3-5+ years of civil litigation experience to join their growing team in Phoenix. This is a full-time role offering exposure to a wide range of matters including auto and trucking claims, bad faith, premises liability, construction defect, professional liability, and municipal defense. The position offer hybrid remote flexibility (3-4 days onsite).
Offer:
Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000+ depending on experience

Qualifications:
3-5+ years of civil litigation experience in either public or private practice
Experience with auto and trucking claims, bad faith, premises liability, construction defect, professional liability, or municipal defense
Top 20% of law school class or law review/moot court experience preferred
Some deposition or courtroom experience preferred
Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Westlaw
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a variety of insurance defense matters including auto, trucking, premises liability, bad faith, and professional liability
Draft motions, discovery, pleadings, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
Manage caseload independently with support from experienced partners
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives
Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed
