Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Aurora, IL. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working with students in grades K-5. The role provides an opportunity to deliver critical speech-language services to children in need, supporting their communication development in a school setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
  • Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in school settings, preferred
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school-based therapy practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language assessments and therapy services to K-5 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Communicate regularly with parents and school personnel about student progress
