POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Aquatics Director, the swim instructor provides excellent customer service while maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. The swim instructor creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with the Family Y of Greater Augusta policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 16 years of age
- YSLI or WSI certification preferred
- Previous swim lesson instructor experience preferred
- CPRo/BLS, First Aid, AED within 30 days
- Must complete successful background screening, which includes criminal and drug screening
