Miller Weldmaster is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical CAD Drafter to join our team. The role involves preparing and updating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for our standard and custom machines using AutoCAD Electrical. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting within a manufacturing environment and will play a vital part in supporting our engineering and production teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft and revise electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical based on engineering input and product requirements.
- Maintain and update electrical drawings based on production redlines or customer changes.
- Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for use in production and integration with our ERP system.
- Collaborate closely with Electrical & Mechanical engineers, electricians and project managers to ensure accurate design implementation.
- Incorporate new components and updates into existing drawing sets.
- Ensure all drawings meet internal standards and applicable codes.
- Participate in internal design reviews and support documentation efforts.
- Occasionally support troubleshooting efforts in production or in the field (some travel may be required).
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting, electrical design, or related field preferred.
- 1-5 years' experience using AutoCAD Electrical in a manufacturing, industrial or college setting
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and standard drafting practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Autodesk Vault and AutoCAD Inventor is a plus.
- Familiarity with PLC symbols and ladder logic is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Global Shop Solutions or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (for occasional site travel).
