Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exciting opportunity is available for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide specialized support within elementary school and high school settings. This contract role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about applying behavioral intervention strategies to enhance student outcomes in educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized 1:1 behavioral support to students with diverse needs.
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior specialist.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavioral strategies into the classroom setting.
- Monitor student progress and document data to guide interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective behavior programs.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially with elementary and high school students.
- Ability to follow supervision protocols provided by certified behavior analysts.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Location: Silver Spring, MD (with specific assignments at Walkersville High School and Centerville Elementary in Urbana, MD)
Duration: Contract position through June 12, with an immediate start date.
