Lighthouse Lab Services seeks a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time Toxicology General Supervisor to join an established Physician owned laboratory located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area in a lovely town called Benbrook.

About the Position:
The Part-Time General Supervisor will be responsible for operating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of two toxicology laboratories, ensuring the delivery of high-quality testing services, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and scientific guidance to the Laboratory Director and staff.
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP and all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Supervise and monitor high-complexity test performance, ensuring acceptable levels of analytic performance and timely corrective action when needed.
- Oversee and participate in routine testing, quality control, calibration, maintenance, proficiency testing, and specimen processing.
- Develop, validate, and implement laboratory testing methods and procedures.
- Manage hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, training, and other personnel-related administration.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, including reagents, supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor laboratory performance metrics to identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient, high-quality testing services and patient care delivery.
- Perform instrument maintenance on established schedules.
- Possess strong knowledge of toxicology regulations and compliance requirements.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of B.S. in Biology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field
- At least 4 years' experience in high complexity LCMS or GCMS Toxicology testing required
- Experience with Agilent and Indiko analyzer instruments preferred
- Previous experience with toxicology sample prep
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
Salary / Shift:
- Day Shift: 3-4 days a week up to 30 hours per week
- Pay rate: $31.25-$39.40
