The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including food production, staff supervision, customer service, and catering. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills to ensure optimal performance and profitability. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in leading all daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality standards.

Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture.

Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.

Support budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control for food and labor.

Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.

Help develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive revenue growth.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, or in a similar leadership role within a full-service dining establishment.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

Strong knowledge of food production, customer service, and operational best practices.

Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team effectively.

Solid understanding of food and labor cost control and restaurant financials.
