Position Overview: We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience (e.g., small engines, automotive, or equipment maintenance).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes, lubrication, and other basic preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
  • Inspect and replace filters, belts, and other components as needed.
  • Assist with routine equipment inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with company and industry standards.
  • Support mechanics and technicians with repairs and tasks as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety guidelines.

Basic Skills Required:

  • Ability to identify basic parts of a diesel engine.
  • Knowledge of proper fluids for diesel engines and the ability to add them correctly.
  • Proficiency in operating a lube skid.
  • Capability to complete checklists and work orders accurately.

Advanced Skills (Preferred or Develop Over Time):

  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair basic trailer wiring issues, and replace tires.
  • Skills to check, adjust, and replace brakes.
  • Knowledge to replace batteries, alternators, starters, and solenoids.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair basic "no-start" issues.
  • Experience navigating control boxes and pulling trouble codes.
