JOB DUTIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process—from drop-off to delivery
- Examine damaged vehicles to assess structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage
- Prepare accurate repair estimates in line with manufacturer and company guidelines using estimating software (e.g., CCC One)
- Coordinate with insurance providers to manage claims and determine repair vs. replacement options
- Communicate repair status updates to customers regularly and professionally
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure all damage is fully identified and accounted for
- Review and approve estimates with the body shop manager or foreman as needed
- Confirm parts delivery and invoice accuracy; maintain an organized workflow
- Perform final quality inspections prior to vehicle delivery
- Build positive customer relationships and maintain high satisfaction scores
- Ensure repair orders meet production and quality standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience as collision estimator or service advising or similar role
- Proficiency with estimating software (CCC One, Mitchell, etc.)
- Solid understanding of vehicle repair processes and insurance procedures
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- I-CAR certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to receive satisfactory results on pre-employment drug and background screen
