Location: Hybrid - New York City
Salary Range: $160,000 - $240,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Experience Required: 5+ years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting
Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in New York State

A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Associate to join its New York City office in a hybrid capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator to work on complex commercial disputes while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and a proven track record of success in a law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Conduct e-discovery, manage document review, and analyze case-related evidence
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
- Provide legal counsel to clients and participate in client meetings
- Stay current on relevant New York laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active New York State Bar license is required
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Proficiency in e-discovery tools and litigation technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
