Overview
We are seeking a skilled and ASE certified Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing various types vehicles. Master Techs will be considered before any other applicants. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the customer is treated well and their vehicle is treated even better.
Pay
All techs are on call 8 hours a day. They may work all 5 days scheduled during the week or none at all depending on demand.
• Minimum of $100 per day whether called in or not.
• $40/hr when working onsite at a clients house (book time).
• $20/hr when driving to/from clients house or to get parts.
Duties
• Assemble and disassemble vehicles for repairs or upgrades.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct necessary repairs using appropriate tools.
• Lift heavy parts and equipment as required during repair processes.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle or machinery needs and relaying information back to dispatch.
Requirements
• All or some ASE certifications (strong preference for master techs).
• Proven experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician in a relevant field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Works well alone and can problem solve independently.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.
