Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Land Use & Water Rights Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel on matters related to land use, water rights, and environmental regulations, ensuring compliance and advocating for clients' interests in various legal forums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on land use and water rights issues to clients.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on environmental laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, permits, and zoning applications.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and litigation involving land use and water rights disputes.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance related to environmental and land use laws.
  • Assist clients in understanding their property rights and the implications of zoning laws.
  • Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders on land use planning and water resource management.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations impacting land use and water rights.
  • Develop strategies for resolving disputes related to land use and water rights.

Qualifications

  • Jurisdictions license to practice law required.
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land use and water rights law.
  • Strong understanding of environmental law and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing skills.
  • Experience in negotiation and litigation related to land use disputes.
  • Knowledge of administrative law and public policy related to land use.
  • Familiarity with real estate law, contracts, zoning, and permitting processes.
