Now hiring a Full time Senior Provider Contract Negotiator opportunity in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. The Senior Provider Contract Negotiator would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Hybrid work setup – position will be a combination of remote work and travel throughout the state of North Carolina to meet with providers (roughly 40% travel required) – candidates must reside in North Carolina for consideration

Senior Provider Contract Negotiator Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
  • All mileage and travel expenses are reimbursed

Schedule:

· Monday – Friday from 8am-5am (occasional OT)

Position Purpose: Identify, negotiate and manage high performing provider and vendor partnerships.

Senior Provider Contract Negotiator Responsibilities

  • Negotiate vendor or provider contracts and manage implementations and ongoing relationships.
  • Perform market research and analysis as directed.
  • Define, initiate, and direct financial analyses and operational reporting for the assigned vendor and provider agreements.
  • Lead, manage, and track ongoing financial and operational success of designated partnership.
  • Develop and initiate corrective action plans or agreement modifications where necessary, coordinating with local health plans and other applicable internal teams.
  • Initiate and lead meetings with health plans and corporate teams, including executive management, to review vendor and provider agreement performance data and scorecards, and partnership strategy.

Senior Provider Contract Negotiator Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.

· 6+ years of vendor and/or provider contract negotiations, contract analysis and/or modeling experience in health care or similar industry.

· Experience negotiating contracts with successful outcomes and measurable financial results.

· Experience with presenting and communicating negotiation strategies and results at senior levels.

· Experience with health care provider negotiations for Government programs preferred.

· Candidates must reside within the state of North Carolina to be considered.

· Candidates must hold a current and valid North Carolina drivers license and have a consistent reliable form of transportation to meet with providers.
