We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in defense litigation to join our team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys by managing case files, preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, coordinating discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, maintaining case calendars, summarizing depositions and medical records, and communicating with clients, experts, and opposing counsel. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of litigation procedures, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 3–5 years of defense litigation experience is required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in defense litigation, with a proven track record of handling complex cases.
• Proficiency in e-filing and court filing procedures.
• Strong skills in calendar management and maintaining case deadlines.
• Experience with dictation tools and drafting legal correspondence.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding legal environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures.
