The Opportunity
We’re currently looking for an experienced family law attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, administrative staff, and senior leadership to move cases forward with care and competence.
If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, possess stellar research and writing skills, communicate with confidence and empathy, and are comfortable using today’s legal tech tools, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in family law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases while staying organized and responsive
- Proficiency with legal research tools and modern law practice technology
- Knowledge of cloud-based software is a plus, but not required
- A commitment to ethical representation and client-centered advocacy
Compensation:
$90,000 - $120,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Keep client files properly organized and up to date
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases
- Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings
- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
- Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients
Qualifications:
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
- Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required
- Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants
- Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred
