As a Production Forklift Operator, you’ll operate forklifts to move and stack heavy or unbalanced loads of cardboard with traditional racking systems. You’ll also assist with machine loading/unloading and perform general warehouse tasks as needed.
Production Forklift Operator Job Duties:· Operate forklifts to safely transport and stack large, unbalanced loads of cardboard· Stack finished cardboard onto pallets without a racking system· Load and unload cardboard into production machines as needed· Support production by cleaning and assisting other departments during machine downtime· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Production Forklift Operator Schedule - SWING SHIFT:Monday 2:20pm-10:50pmTuesday 2:20pm-11:50pmWednesday 2:20pm-10:50pmThursday 2:20pm-10:50pmFriday 1:20pm-8:50pm
Pay:· $20 per hour
Production Forklift Operator Requirements:· 1 year of forklift experience with heavy or unbalanced loads· Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly (with or without accommodation)· Willingness to work in a warm warehouse environment during summer· Self-motivated and dependable; strong attendance is key· Reliable transportation (location is not accessible by public transit)· Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime (up to 55 hours/week)
