Position Overview

Job Title: Athletic Trainer / On-Field Medic
Location: 525 N Shaffer Street, Orange CA, 92867
Start Date: January 4, 2026
Position Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

As an Athletic Trainer/Medic, you will play a vital role in ensuring player safety and providing on-site medical support during practices and games. From injury prevention to emergency care, your expertise will help maintain a safe and supportive environment for our athletes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site first aid, injury evaluations, and immediate care during practices and games.
  • Assess injuries and determine if athletes can safely return to play.
  • Manage and maintain medical supplies, first-aid kits, and safety equipment.
  • Communicate injury updates and safety recommendations to coaches, staff, and parents.
  • Monitor hydration, warm-ups, and safety protocols before gameplay begins.
  • Document injuries, treatments, and incidents in accordance with league procedures.
  • Collaborate with league officials to uphold safety standards and emergency protocols.


What We’re Looking For

  • Required: CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Preferred: EMT certification, athletic training background, or sports medicine experience.
  • Knowledge of youth sports safety, injury prevention, and emergency care practices.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to stay calm, professional, and reliable in fast-paced situations.
  • Availability for scheduled practices, league nights, and weekend games.
