Job Description
We are seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics across various levels to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be involved in the maintenance and operations of Peanut Shelling Operations and Buying Points. Positions range from entry-level to advanced, each requiring a different skill set and level of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair duties under varying levels of supervision.
- Learn and execute tasks related to Peanut Shelling Operations.
- Develop fabrication skills and perform machine troubleshooting.
- Conduct independent repairs and advanced troubleshooting.
- Direct other maintenance employees in the absence of a manager or supervisor.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in welding, fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and repair.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with mechanical components.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience is preferred for Tech I, required for Tech II-IV.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat and cold.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
Work Environment
The work environment is non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability to various temperature conditions. Employees will need to be comfortable working in extreme conditions and be flexible with their work schedule, which may include weekends, holidays, and nights.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochelle, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
