Screw Machine Operators (Acme, Brown and Sharpe, Davenport)
- Fruita, CO
- 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday
SUMMARY:
Responsible for proper set-up, operation, and maintenance of the machines. The operator is responsible for producing parts to print at specified production rates.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Machine lubrication, machine start-up and shut down procedures
- Machine set-up and operation.
- Quality and production rates.
- Recording daily production.
- Machine maintenance and repair.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.
- Machine, department, and shop house keeping.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Layout reading and ability to set-up machines.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and machining knowledge.
- Experience with Acme, Brown and Sharpe or Davenport automatics helpful.
- Ability to communicate with others.
