One of our most prestigous legal clients is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their team supporting their personal injury practice through both pre-litigation and litigation phases for their Richmond office's vibrant team.
Job Duties
- Managing client case files with a keen eye for detail and a heart for service.
- Engaging with clients through intake interviews, ensuring they feel heard and supported.
- Navigating the complexities of personal injury cases with expertise and empathy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years Personal Injury plaintiff experience.
- Experience in conducting Intake interviews with new clients.
- Experience with liens, including liens associated with ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers compensation.
- Experience with complex, high-volume cases.
- Experience with case management system.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferable
Physical And Environmental Requirements
- General office environment requires sitting for long periods of time, occasional periods of standing and walking.
- Visual capability to work viewing a computer monitor for several hours of the day.
- The ability to work in an office environment around others.
- The ability to exhibit manual dexterity and use standard office equipment such as phones, keyboards, and copiers for extended periods of time
