Laser Operator and Punch Press
Responsibilities:
Interpret mechanical drawings;
Knowledge of Mitsubishi Lasers (model ML2030D or ML3015LVP is a plus);
Knowledge of laser set-up, condition choice, nozzle and focus adjustment;
Conduct cutting using proper gas selection;
Select proper thickness and type of material from proper material rack;
Load material onto laser bed;
Inspect work using blueprints and precision measuring tools;
Perform process inspection and documentation;
Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean working environment;
Maintain laser and punch equipment as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience;
Ability to work flexible hours to support overtime requirements;
Able to work and produce effectively with minimal supervision;
Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization;
Ability to work as a team member;
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift;
Operate over-head crane and vacuum lift as required;
In house certify and operate forklift as required;
Able to lift 25 pounds consistently without assistance, 75 pounds occasionally with assistance;
Repetitive wrist, elbow and arm movement continuously throughout the workday;
