About the Program:
- Learn from the Best: Under the guidance of our experienced Field Training Managers, you will learn to work in one of today's most vital industries – commercial refrigeration. We are essential to keeping America’s food and medical supplies cold and safe.
- Intensive 13-week Program: With a focus on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems. Training hours will fluctuate as needed, including some Saturdays.
- Trade Skills: Build the skills required to repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems through a dynamic blend of classroom instruction, hands-on lab sessions, and real-world exposure.
- Certification Support: Required to obtain EPA 608 Universal & OSHA-10 certifications within two months of starting training.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn to perform proper service practices.
- Learn how to respond to service calls, perform scheduled maintenance, make refrigeration and mechanical equipment repairs.
- Perform diagnostics to detect malfunctions and defects in equipment.
- Troubleshoot to ensure the system is functioning properly following repairs.
- Effectively communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the team.
- Eventually provide own basic tools for the trade.
- Demonstrate retention of knowledge through both hands-on and written testing.
- Travel Required
- Other duties as required, including working in other departments.
- Professional attitude and self-accountability with a focus on Safety First.
Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- EPA Certification: Universal (Obtain within 2 months of start date)
- OSHA-10 Certification (Obtain within 2 months of start date)
- Excellent communication skills (reading/writing/speaking)
- Honest and loyal team player, willing to do whatever it takes - safely!
