Multinational Cosmetics Company: Wholesale Manager Romania & Bulgaria

Role based in Bucharest, Romania

Responsibilities:

1. Purpose:

  • Manage and develop the nationwide wholesale business in order to meet objectives, targets and team development, profitability and sales growth

2. Business Impact:

  • Be fully accountable for the territory allocated: develop and manage relationships with key partners, devise and implement the annual business plan, manage and coach the wholesale team and liaise with other departments
  • Drive the growth of the business with an omni-channel mindset

3. Interaction:

  • Reports to the Director WHS; dotted line to Country Director
  • Part of the local & international leadership team, manages the local WHS team & cross functional partnerships, internal and external clients

4. Creativity:

  • Comes with creative ideas about how to attract, develop and retain key partners
  • Motivate, train and inspire the account managers through leadership and sales success

5. Result Area’s:

  • Hit the annual targets
  • Manage strong account relationships
  • Driving growth via carefully selected new business
  • Development of profitable & premium account management plans
  • Meets strategic objectives and deadlines outlined in the Wholesale distribution strategy
  • Ensure all Partners represent the brand in line with Visual Merchandising/ Brand Guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Beauty / FMCG / Retail
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject
  • Experience in prestige WHS and preferably affinity with cosmetics in general
  • Experience with succesful implementation and execution
  • Experience with leading, managing and developing a team
  • Established relationships with beauty retailing buying groups
  • Strong communication skills: ability to interact with all levels of management internal and external
  • Fluently in English (both spoken and written)
  • Teamplayer, problem solver, flexible, energetic, strategic and hands-on entrepreneurial
  • Strong analytical and commercial organizational skills
  • Client oriented, high drive for results
  • Ability to present both internally (team, senior mngt) and externally (retailers)
