SUMMARY
We are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals who are serious in starting a career in the Spring Manufacturing Industry. This is a hands-on role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy precision work, problem-solving, and working with automated or semi-automated equipment in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wire coiling or forming machinery (NuCoil, CNC spring coilers, servo-driven machines, etc.)
- Adjust settings for pitch, diameter, feed rate, and wire tension based on job specifications
- Monitor production runs for quality and consistency
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pitch gauges) for in-process and final inspection
- Document production data and report issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Prefer shop or manufacturing experience, able to read prints, familiar with calipers, and CNC knowledge would be a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform machine adjustments
- The ability to be trained and understand instruction of how to set up and run all major spring-making equipment including mechanical coilers, spring lathes, automatic and hand grinders, finishing equipment including shot peen and painting, inspection equipment and tools, hand jigs and basic hand tools, CNC and wire forming equipment.
- Dependable and responsible
- High school graduate or GED
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
Compensation
- 18.00 – 23.00 hourly – Depends on experience

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4pm - 2am
