Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a prominent personal injury law firm in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing critical support to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and driven by a passion for advocating on behalf of injury victims.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage litigation files from initial complaint through resolution, ensuring all court filings and case documentation are handled accurately and on time.
• Draft and revise legal pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents for submission in Missouri and Illinois courts.
• Coordinate discovery efforts by preparing and responding to interrogatories, document requests, and admissions while tracking deadlines and ensuring compliance.
• Review and summarize medical records and bills to identify pertinent information that supports case strategy and trial preparation.
• Schedule depositions and assist attorneys by organizing exhibits, preparing summaries, and outlining expected testimony.
• Maintain detailed litigation calendars, tracking trial dates, court deadlines, and other case milestones to ensure timely preparation.
• Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.
• Assist with trial preparation by organizing exhibit lists, creating trial binders, and preparing jury instructions and other necessary materials.
• Provide in-person trial support by managing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and assisting with jury selection and courtroom logistics.
• Support post-trial activities, including preparing motions, appeals, and settlement distributions while ensuring compliance with court orders.• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with preference for Missouri and Illinois experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Missouri Rules of Civil Procedure and local court filing protocols.
• Proficiency in case management software such as SmartAdvocate and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to handle large volumes of case documents and adhere to strict litigation deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
