Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in a Level 1 Trauma hospital requiring at least one year of nursing experience and a NC or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the inpatient float pool of a hospital ICU setting
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Five shifts per week with 8-hour shifts
- Care for patients with complex medical needs and trauma cases
- Responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical nursing care to ICU patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and update patient care plans
- Engage patients and families in the care process and discharge planning
- Participate in ongoing professional development and unit improvement activities
- Expected to follow all hospital and nursing standards for safe and effective patient care
- Lab-based drug screen must be completed within 24 hours of assignment commitment

- Active RN license issued by North Carolina or a compact state
- At least one year of nursing experience required
- Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Must have recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting
