OPPIDAN, an inpatient brain injury rehabilitation program is actively interviewing for Residential Services Assistants. We are seeking highly motivated, effective, dynamic, professional individuals with a willingness to learn the specific needs of the client’s we serve. There is also the opportunity for promotion into a supervisory role.
Primary responsibilities include:
Direct client care including lifting and transferring non-ambulatory clients, assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living, providing direct supervision of adult clients, implementing therapy protocols as well as behavior plans and contracts. Using tools for positive interaction and Professional Crisis Management techniques to de-escalate problematic client behavior and reinforce and shape appropriate behavior.
· Must meet the physical requirements of Professional Crisis Management.
· Must demonstrate effective communication across multiple disciplines.
· Must be able to accurately communicate issues and events, as necessary.
Hourly wage compensation based on experience
2-3 years care giver experience preferred
Must successfully pass criminal background check
