Job DescriptionNow Hiring Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) – Franklin, Indiana
Pay Range: negotiable based on experienceShift: 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
Training will take place on 1st shift until fully trained.
Job SummaryWe are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC machine maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and industrial equipment repair. This role supports production by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC systems.This is a hands-on, technical role in a growing manufacturing operation in Franklin, Indiana, offering a ground-floor opportunity to contribute to a new industrial facility.Essential Duties

  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and related industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems, including PLCs, programmable controllers, and circuit boards.
  • Maintain and repair CNC machinery and automated production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility systems, including air compressors, centralized air, water cooling systems, conveyors, and building systems.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and increase equipment reliability.
  • Read and interpret industrial schematics, blueprints, electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, or minor machining as needed.
  • Install, repair, and modify machinery, including adjustments to mechanical units, electrical units, electronic controls, and wiring.
  • Analyze wiring diagrams, specifications, and drawings to support scheduled and emergency repairs.
  • Train production staff on routine maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, or Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
  • Proven troubleshooting experience in industrial mechanical, electro-pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machine maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems required.
  • Ability to read and interpret industrial blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and industrial safety practices.
