Wolfgang Confectioners currently has openings for a Processor I – Manufacturing Cooking, Blending, and Batching at our Camp Hill Facility.

Work Monday thru Thursday and Enjoy a 3-day Weekend Every Weekend!

Yes, that is correct...you will have Friday thru Sunday off every week!

  • 1st Shift - Monday thru Thursday - 5:00 AM - 3:30PM
  • 2nd Shift - Monday thru Thursday - 3:20 PM-1:50AM

Pay Rate:

The starting rate is $15.82 per hour plus a $.50 shift differential for 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

Utilizing a variety of established formulas and procedures, Processors produce a variety of confectionary products to quality specifications in a safe manner, following Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO written procedures to meet food safety standards. To accomplish their tasks, processors use various equipment to include, but not limited to, kettles, mixers, engrossers, enrobers, confectionary bar lines, etc. operated by electric, gas, steam, and pneumatics.

Job Functions:

  • Produces finished product by becoming proficient with equipment, ingredients, formulas, and materials for area of operation.
  • Follows production schedule requirements as supplied by the Supervisor.
  • Maintains work area in a manner compliant with GMP’s and allergen concerns.
  • Completes all record keeping requirements as required.
  • Completes work in compliance with all Company Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Assures compliance with company SDS program.
  • Completes work in compliance with all Company Quality Policies and Procedure.
  • Effectively communicates production, safety and quality information with peers, Line Lead, and supervision.
  • Assists with training of peers and new hire Processors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills – In English, ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
  • Reasoning – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to understand GMP’s, AIB, and ISO standards.
