Personal Injury Paralegal

Position Overview
Award winning Personal Injury firm is seeking both a Pre-Litigation and Litigation Paralegal to assist the legal team in managing cases, conducting research, and preparing legal documents. The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-litigation and litigation processes, particularly in the area of personal injury law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
  • Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests
  • Maintain and organize case files and documentation
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to gather information
  • Help in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Paralegal certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law
  • Strong understanding of pre-litigation and litigation processes
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
