Key Responsibilities
Perform automotive touch-ups, bumper painting, and minor paint/body repairs with attention to color accuracy and finish quality.
Prepare surfaces (clean, sand, mask,
and prime) for paint applications.
Mix and match paints, apply base coats, clear coats, and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.
Repair dents, scratches, and minor cosmetic damage on vehicle exteriors.
Sand, blend, and polish repaired areas to ensure seamless finishes.
Inspect finished work for quality, durability, and color match; perform reworks as needed.
Maintain and clean painting equipment, spray booths/tools, and work area.
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Work outdoors when required, adapting to weather and environmental conditions.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members about scope, timeline, and outcomes.
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in auto painting and/or body repair (or relevant apprenticeship).
Knowledge of automotive paints, primers, clear coats, color matching, and finishing techniques.
Experience with bumper repairs, touch-ups, and minor cosmetic fixes.
Ability to work outdoors and in variable weather conditions.
Basic automotive repair skills and understanding of vehicle structures.
Attention to detail, accuracy in color matching, and a quality-focused mindset.
Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation to and from work.
Willingness to comply with safety standards and PPE requirements.
Good communication skills and teamwork.
