Sr. Corporate Paralegal
Position Overview
We are one of Houston's premiere commercial real estate law firms seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our growing firm! You will support our talented attorneys by managing corporate governance, compliance, and transactional matters, as well as assist in the preparation of legal documents, maintain corporate records, and provide support on additional projects as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the formation of business entities, including LLCs, corporations, and partnerships.
- Prepare and file necessary documents and agreements, such as LLC agreements, partnership agreements, and business licenses.
- Maintain corporate records, including organizational certificates and resolutions.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Research and obtain necessary business licenses and permits.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for board meetings and other corporate events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or paralegal certification is required.
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal with a strong background in corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in document preparation and legal research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
