At NYC Water Cruises, we specialize in luxury private charters, dinner cruises, and unforgettable events along the New York Harbor. Our team is committed to providing a safe, smooth, and exceptional guest experience aboard our premium vessels. We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced 100-Ton Captain to join our dynamic crew.

Position Overview:
As a Captain, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a 100-ton vessel, ensuring full compliance with USCG regulations and company protocols. You will lead the onboard crew, manage vessel navigation, and deliver excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and navigate a 100-ton passenger vessel in New York Harbor

  • Ensure safety of all guests and crew at all times

  • Oversee docking, anchoring, and onboard operations

  • Supervise and coordinate with deck crew and support staff

  • Perform safety drills, inspections, and routine maintenance checks

  • Maintain clear communication with operations team and management

  • Deliver a positive and professional experience for all charter guests

Requirements:

  • Valid U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Master License (Near Coastal or Inland)

  • TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)

  • CPR/First Aid Certification preferred

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating similar commercial vessels

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with NYC waterways is a plus

  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
