Job Title: Equipment Specialist

Location: Travel-Based onsite Role

Job Type: Fulltime Position


Nature of the Job:

This is a travel-based role to onsite installation locations. Due to the nature of this role, your work schedule and hours may fluctuate based on project assignments and deadlines. While you will generally work a full-time schedule equivalent to at least 2,080 hours annually, there may be times when work is required on weekdays, weekends, or outside standard business hours to meet client and operational needs.


Role Description

The Equipment Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and servicing medical equipment, performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, ensuring equipment functionality, and collaborating with clients to optimize operational efficiency. Daily tasks include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining specialized equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing excellent customer service.


Qualifications

Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices

Experience working with Heavy Equipment and handling intricate system installations

Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently

Proficiency in ensuring Customer Satisfaction through clear communication and reliable service

Familiarity with healthcare equipment is an advantage

Strong technical knowledge and the ability to learn new systems and tools

Ability to travel on-site within the US/Canada and maintain a collaborative, professional attitude

Compensation & Benefits


Health Insurance:

Coverage is effective immediately upon your start date.

IRA Benefits: Available after a 90-day Introductory Period, with a company match of 3%.

Paid Time Off (PTO): Employees accrue 14 days of PTO per year, with potential increases based on tenure in accordance with future company policies. PTO accrues from the date of hire but cannot be used until successful completion of the Introductory Period, unless written approval is provided by management.

PTO expires 12 months from the accrual date; however, employees may bank up to a maximum of 28 days, which will not expire.

Requests for consecutive days off must be submitted at least 14 days in advance and are subject to management approval at the Company’s discretion.

Per Diem: $60 per day when traveling.

Mileage Reimbursement: If a personal vehicle is used for work purposes, mileage will be reimbursed at the current government rate.
