Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Worker at FCS Facility Services, you will be an integral part of our is a skilled professional Maintenance Worker, responsible for keeping buildings and equipment in optimal condition. You will perform a variety of tasks to ensure facilities are functional, safe, and well-maintained.
Here are the key responsibilities:
1. Routine Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify maintenance needs

Inspect buildings, grounds, and machinery to ensure everything is in working order
2. Preventative Maintenance:

Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.

Address minor issues promptly to avoid major repairs.
3. Basic Repairs:

Handle basic repairs, such as fixing broken locks, filling gaps in walls, and replacing light bulbs.

Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
4. Contractor Oversight:

Coordinate with contractors when professional repairs are required.

Ensure that external service providers follow safety protocols and deliver quality work.
5. Mechanical Troubleshooting:

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar position.

Basic knowledge Handy Man Repairs.

Ability to use hand and electrical tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical stamina and manual dexterity.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
