Job Title: Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – in-office preferred with flexibility)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our Houston team. This individual will play a key role in supporting attorneys on complex litigation matters, including case management, trial preparation, discovery, and client communication. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial litigation matters, from inception through trial and appeal.
  • Manage case files, organize documents, and maintain case calendars and deadlines.
  • Draft, review, and organize discovery requests and responses, including document production and deposition preparation.
  • Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including preparation of exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Coordinate and manage electronic filings in state and federal courts.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of commercial litigation paralegal experience (law firm experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and e-filing requirements.
  • Proficiency with litigation support software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
