Automotive Service Technician

Hyundai of Mesquite is always looking to add qualified Automotive Service Technicians to our growing team! The Service Technician should be skilled and experienced and can perform diagnostics and maintenance in all areas of repair, including specialized areas of repair for Hyundai vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and Collaborate
- Inspect malfunctioning equipment and accurately diagnose mechanical issues. The Service Technician will devise a repair plan, secure the necessary components with the Parts Department, and team up with management and other technicians to confirm efficient and effective service.
- Install, Repair, and Maintenance
- Install new equipment or systems and perform routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of the customer's vehicles.
- Customer Interaction and Problem Solving:
- Assist customers to understand their needs, explain diagnoses, and provide solutions to ensure service satisfaction. The Service Technician will trouble shoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Document and Report
- Document the repair and maintenance work performed. The Service Technician will note concerns encountered and create a detailed service report.
Employee Prerequisites:
- Onboarding process completed within days of applying!
- Strong understanding and knowledge of vehicle mechanics, equipment and systems, and technology operations. Pay is based on experience.
- Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations is essential! Pay based on experience!
