A professional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide dedicated coverage within a K-12 school setting. This contract role is designed to cover an 8-week leave period, focusing primarily on direct therapy services for an elementary caseload.

Located in Dearborn, MI, this position involves working 1-2 days per week with approximately 43 students. Responsibilities are concentrated on delivering speech and language therapy and maintaining case notes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes reflecting student progress.
  • Collaborate with onsite SLP responsible for evaluations and IEP processes to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to all relevant guidelines and best practices within the school setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently during scheduled therapy days.

This contract position offers the chance to support a busy caseload in a structured, K-12 educational environment for a defined period. The role is ideal for a professional who enjoys focused therapy sessions and contributing to student growth and development.

Qualified candidates interested in contributing their skills to this valuable temporary assignment are encouraged to apply for consideration.
