Litigation Associate
Position Overview
We are a top 100 AM law firm seeking a dedicated and skilled Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various areas of litigation, including consumer health, product liability, and mass torts. This position involves providing legal support through research, drafting documents, and representing clients in court proceedings, with a focus on complex litigation cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Assist in the formulation of case strategies and provide support during trial preparations.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, including New Jersey State Court and Federal Court.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and client communications.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting litigation in consumer health, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and federal courts; bonus points for NY bar admission
- 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in consumer health, product liability, and mass torts.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience in complex litigation and knowledge of medical device or pharmaceutical defense is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple cases effectively.
