Associated Marine Services, Inc. in Port Arthur, TX is looking for a USCG Licensed Captain to operate our crew boats in Sabine Pass, TX. The position is a rotating schedule- 14 days on, 7 days off. Qualified Captains will be safety oriented, as well as motivated and a team player. Candidates should be on their second issue of 100-ton license, have experience as a captain on a crew boat, and have prior experience with operating twin, triple, or quad screw boats.

The captains' responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Ensuring all company policies, operating procedures, and USCG regulations are followed.
• Safely operating and maneuvering the vessel inshore, through narrow waterways and ship channels; as well as in the Gulf of Mexico.
• Operating the vessel precisely during cargo & personnel transfers within close proximity- alongside ships.
• Responsible for all vessel operations; overseeing cargo loading and offloading, fuel, water and personnel transfers.
• Accountability for the crew and vessels activities: which includes maintenance, training, evaluations, record keeping & logs.

Qualifications and criteria for the position are as follows:

• Current USCG masters license of 100 tons near coastal- 2nd issue.
• FCC License
• TWIC Card
• Valid Driver License
