Ascent Administration Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administration Specialist. As a member of the finance team, you will organize, analyze, and verify various contracts, transactions and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. This is a detail-oriented position which is vital to daily operations. A strong candidate will have a knowledge of accounting practices and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus!
Contract Administration Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
· Reconciliation of cash deposits and payments to TPA Software/Data Warehouse.
· Maintenance of contracts within TPA Software/Data Warehouse.
· Process invoices as new contracts are initiated.
· Prepare informational communications for Dealers, Agents, and Ascent Administration Staff.
· Process commission payments to Dealers and Agents as needed.
· Track W-9 and payment information for all payees/vendors, while maintaining vendor information in QuickBooks.
· Special projects as assigned.
Required Candidate Qualifications
· Minimum two years professional office experience.
· Excellent computer skills; experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; Access, database, or other system knowledge.
· Knowledge of finance, accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must.
· Ability to work well individually, and as part of a team.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration (accounting emphasis), or a related field.
