Title: Civil Litigation Attorney
Compensation: Base $95K-$105K + 15% hours bonus + discretionary bonuses
Location: Onsite - Schaumburg, IL
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases, focusing on commercial disputes and contract issues. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare case files for litigation
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and negotiations
- Advise clients on legal rights and obligations regarding civil matters
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies
- Manage a caseload of civil litigation matters and ensure deadlines are met
- Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to civil litigation
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Bar Admission in Illinois
- 3+ years of experience in civil/commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and contract law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize workloads
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
