As a Facility Resource Nurse, you will:

  • Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in maintaining quality care standards
  • Supervise Nursing Services round the clock
  • Assume DON responsibilities during their absence
  • Lead and coordinate care plans for each resident
  • Ensure the delivery of passionate quality care
  • Oversee competency testing for nursing personnel
  • Prepare for state inspection surveys
  • Collaborate with department heads for resident care
  • Provide 24-hour "on call" service for emergencies
  • Manage and define goals and roles within the nursing department
  • Build and lead a nursing leadership team
  • Investigate and resolve resident/family complaints
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to carry out physician orders

Requirements:

  • RN licensed in Missouri
  • 5 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
  • At least 2 years in a nursing supervisory role
