As a Facility Resource Nurse, you will:
- Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in maintaining quality care standards
- Supervise Nursing Services round the clock
- Assume DON responsibilities during their absence
- Lead and coordinate care plans for each resident
- Ensure the delivery of passionate quality care
- Oversee competency testing for nursing personnel
- Prepare for state inspection surveys
- Collaborate with department heads for resident care
- Provide 24-hour "on call" service for emergencies
- Manage and define goals and roles within the nursing department
- Build and lead a nursing leadership team
- Investigate and resolve resident/family complaints
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to carry out physician orders
Requirements:
- RN licensed in Missouri
- 5 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- At least 2 years in a nursing supervisory role
