Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Decatur, Alabama. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. Duties include managing staff, budget control, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and standards, and developing strategic plans for business growth. The General Manager will also collaborate with Sales & Marketing teams to enhance revenue and manage operational costs effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality management including Operations, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources, Engineering, and Accounting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton or IHG brand standards is a plus
