Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workers' compensation law and will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings related to workplace injuries. This position aims to provide effective legal strategies and ensure clients receive the compensation they deserve under the law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation cases before administrative agencies and courts
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and options
  • Draft and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support cases
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Prepare clients for hearings and legal proceedings, including depositions and trials
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and experts to gather evidence for cases

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the Ohio bar
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation law
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation regulations and defense strategies
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal cases and client relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
