Job Title: Commercial Catastrophic Personal Injury Attorney
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: On-site, Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 + Monthly Bonus

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnered with a premier legal firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We are seeking a skilled Commercial Catastrophic Personal Injury Attorney with 3–5+ years of experience to join their team. This role focuses on high-stakes personal injury cases, including commercial vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and deceptive trade practices.
Role Overview:
The attorney will manage a caseload of approximately 70 active cases with support from case managers, paralegals, and legal assistants. You will lead cases through trial, negotiation, and settlement while delivering top-tier advocacy and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage catastrophic personal injury cases from intake to trial or settlement
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and jury trials
- Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
- Supervise and collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Communicate effectively with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Ensure accurate case documentation and billing
- Stay current on case law and legal trends impacting personal injury litigation
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Texas law license
- 3–5+ years of experience in personal injury law, including catastrophic or commercial cases
- Trial experience with strong courtroom procedure knowledge
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and litigation strategy
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to work on-site and manage occasional after-hours projects
