Your Role as a Gymnastics Ambassador (Coach/Teacher):
We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic individuals who not only love working with young children but are also comfortable and passionate about supporting kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), physical disabilities, and other special needs. Our adaptive and inclusive approach makes The Kidz Gym a one-of-a-kind workplace.
We especially encourage applicants with experience in:
- Pediatric Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or similar role
- Adaptive physical education or early childhood special education
Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching engaging, developmentally appropriate gymnastics classes using our proven curriculum, including tailored approaches for children with diverse abilities
- Supporting each child’s growth by understanding their individual strengths, challenges, and goals
- Learning and mastering progressions for all class levels and adapting as needed for accessibility and success
- Maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality to support a reliable and predictable learning environment
- Building positive, professional relationships with children, families, and peers
Requirements:
- Experience in preschool education or preschool gymnastics
- A positive and inclusive mindset with a passion for making movement accessible to all children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Confidence in working with children of varying abilities and behaviors
- Reliability and a proactive approach to teamwork and program support
