Personal Injury Attorney - New Hyde Park, NY
A well-established personal injury firm in New Hyde Park is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice support, and general negligence claims. This role offers significant client interaction, case-management responsibility, and the opportunity to work within a supportive, high-volume practice.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- 2+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience
- Strong experience with drafting pleadings, motion practice, and discovery
- Ability to negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with insurers
- Courtroom and deposition experience preferred
- Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while providing attentive client service
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and fall cases, and general negligence
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct client intakes, evaluations, and ongoing client communications
- Represent clients in depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations
- Work closely with medical providers, experts, and internal staff to strengthen case value
- Prepare cases for litigation and assist with trial preparation when necessary
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely progress across all assigned matters
