JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Overnight/Evening Supervisor and Remote Support Specialist
SUMMARY
The Overnight/Evening Supervisor and Remote Support Specialist provides guidance and leadership to Direct support Professional staff of Lehigh Valley Adult Services. The Overnight/Evening Supervisor and Remote Support Specialist exemplifies core leadership values and mission of LVAS through their daily supervision and interaction with consumers and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide a safe, structured and therapeutic environment.
Act as a liaison on behalf of LVAS to families/ constituents of our consumers
Perform Activities of Daily Living or client care as assigned.
Provide staffing coverage in the event of a call out.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Act as a Crisis Manager as necessary
Provide assistance and supervision to Direct Support Staff in scheduling conflicts, appropriate training on ISP, compliance with policy and procedure, Office of Developmental Programs mandates and regulations.
Assist clients while transferring and/or ambulating.
Member of Interdisciplinary Team
Attend staff meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings as required.
Aide in the development of community outreach and, program development
Attend monthly client ISP, monitoring meetings, and Care Plan meetings with support coordinators and consumers.
Provide Remote Support to consumers in Residential Program
Enforce compliance of all LVAS policies and procedures and all State and Local regulations.
Supervise nightly operations across all locations
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Provide support to individuals and staff during the over night shift
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to use technology.
First Aid and CPR certified
Medication administration
Excellent customer service skills
Effective communicator both oral and written.
Able to work independently and be a competent team player.
Capable of lifting without restrictions
FBI fingerprint (as required), PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, Drug Screen, Physical
Certified Investigator.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree or equivalent or 4 years experience in the human services field and skills to work with aging adults with functional impairment.
HOURS OF WORK
Full Time, including weekends and on-call rotation.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and work instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers and staff.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must successfully complete ongoing training to maintain regulatory compliance.
